The innovative suspension technology deployed in the new CLA Coupé will demonstrate your prowess, both on country roads and motorways. The suspension is impressive, even at high speeds, both for its dynamic cornering control and outstanding comfort on long journeys.

Regardless of the system selected, every driver will find the right suspension to fulfil his driving ambitions - and in most cases surpass them.

Direct-Steer system with speed-sensitive power steering and variable steering ratios
Comfort suspension[1] The standard-fit suspension impresses with its comfortable spring characteristics and a tried-and-tested damping system for high handling safety. The comfort suspension is characterised by sufficient spring travel and the best possible compensation of transverse forces. These are the prerequisites for comfortable elasticity. A conventional damping system is used in the comfort suspension . The tuning of the twin-pipe shock absorber was selected to give a ratio of pulling to pushing force of 3 : 1 on the front axle. This reduces dynamic deviation from tyre uniformity, which benefits the driving dynamics and handling safety of the vehicle.
Sports suspension (optional) [2] The sports suspension features firmer suspension and damping. The sports suspension also increases the vehicle’s dynamic appearance and is factory-fitted to match perfectly with the model series..
