Speed Limit Assist, reversing camera and PARKTRONIC

Comfort takes centre stage in the E-Class. So that you can stay relaxed even on long journeys or during difficult driving manoeuvres, there are assistance systems to support you. You will find information on further assistance systems in the Safety area.

PARKTRONIC parking aid incl. Parking Guidance and parking space measurement When parking or looking for a parking space, the driver can call on the assistance of the PARKTRONIC system. Ultrasonic sensors automatically measure the length of parking spaces parallel to the car when moving at a speed of 30 km/h or less. If a suitable space is found, Parking Guidance then provides precise instructions on the correct steering angle and points at which to turn.
Speed Limit Assist[1] The system can identify the speed limits shown on road signs and display the permitted maximum speed in the instrument cluster. This is particularly useful on stretches of road with frequently changing traffic signs or along routes with road works. Speed Limit Assist also aligns the displayed speed limits with the data stored in the navigation system.
