The appearance of the new E-Class Coupé celebrates dynamic spirit at the highest level. After all, its trend-setting design also serves as an external indicator of its superior technical features. The reinterpreted front end, the powerful shoulder line and the muscular tail end set standards for innovative coupé design.

The expressive front end of the new E-Class Coupé with large air intakes and cross-braces in the bumper completely reinterprets the distinctive "twin-headlamp" look. The radiator grille with one louvre and central Mercedes star adds more comprehensive dynamic spirit and a statement of sportiness.

The low roof line and the visually broadened rear with bicolour tail lamps featuring LED fibre-optic technology create the unmistakeable classic coupé proportions. The car also emphasises its stand-alone position in its segment by omitting the B-pillars, which allows all four side windows to be opened to their full extent; in conjunction with the frameless doors this creates the sporty-elegant coupé profile typical for Mercedes-Benz.

An extensive selection of appealing paint finishes and alloy wheels lets customers adapt the exterior to their personal preferences.

The exterior design continues systematically in the interior. Inspired by aircraft design, the striking lines of the instrument panel and cockpit create interesting dynamics with plenty of elbow room.

In the centre of the cockpit the new 3-dial instrument cluster with black on white dials, the 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel as well as the colour display with flat-frame design draw the eye. The analogue clock between the redesigned air vents and silver-chrome control elements as well as the instrument panel with new trim exude noble serenity.

The coupé-specific seats meet sport and comfort requirements. New appointment and contrasting colours bring a breath of fresh air to the interior – e.g. a deep-sea blue in combination with the silk beige appointment colour – and trim with the new polished aluminium design. There are a total of eight different interiors available for selection.

The optional panoramic sliding sunroof with electric roller sunblinds conveys a generous sense of space and extends back over the rear seats. It is about twice the size of conventional sliding glass sunroofs and gives the interior a particularly bright and friendly ambience.
