Comfortable travel – that is the standard for the C-Class Saloon. The suspension makes a key contribution in this regard. From sporty and taut to comfortable and soft – it’s your choice.

AGILITY CONTROL suspension The AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system combines both agility and ride comfort. The shock absorbers adjust automatically to the driving situation. The superior damping effect and stabilisation of the vehicle come into their own on poor road surfaces in particular.
AGILITY CONTROL sports suspension (optional) The AGILITY CONTROL sports suspension (also a part of the AMG Sports package) features a tauter set-up and a suspension lowered by 15 mm. Compared with the standard-specification AGILITY CONTROL suspension, the spring and damper settings are firmer for less roll movement and greater driving stability. The speed-sensitive sports steering with more direct ratio complements the suspension by applying steering movements to the road more dynamically.
Dynamic Handling package (optional) With the Dynamic Handling package with sports driving mode it is possible to choose between a comfortable suspension setting and an excitingly sporty suspension setting. With sports mode selected, the system adjusts the firmness of the damping and even sharpens the accelerator response so that you feel the response from the engine more acutely. Or you can choose the standard mode and enjoy a particularly smooth and comfortable ride. Regardless of the driving mode you select, the electronically regulated damping system always adjusts to the driving situation and road conditions. This increases the road roar and tyre vibration characteristics and driving safety, particularly the vehicle's agility. One part of the dynamic handling package is its speed-sensitive sports steering. By changing the steering characteristic, it provides a particularly sporty steering sensation.
